Since its onset in 1998, Zyacorp rapidly expanded by first managing Zyacorp Hotels INC. and then creating the Cinemagic Stadium Theaters franchise, owned by the Zyacorp Entertainment Companies. Currently doing business in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, Cinemagic boasts 8 locations including 2 IMAX theaters.

Zyacorp specializes in commercial real estate management, business development, consulting,  marketing and operations. With combined experience in excess of 100 years, the Zyacorp management team and its staff offers services for all business needs.

Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer

Reports to: Marketing & Events Manager

General Description:
The design team at Zyacorp, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, well-rounded individual who can fill our Junior Graphic Designer position. Zyacorp specializes in commercial real estate management, business development, consulting, marketing and operations. Zyacorp rapidly expanded by first managing Zyacorp Hotels INC. and then creating the Cinemagic Stadium Theaters franchise, owned by the Zyacorp Entertainment Companies. Currently doing business in Maine, New Hampshire and Massachusetts, Cinemagic boasts 8 locations including 2 IMAX theaters.

The ideal candidate must be passionate about the work that they produce and for the company’s goals. We want someone who is eager to grow with us and is willing to go the extra mile. The ideal candidate will assist all aspects of a project from start to finish and be willing to jump into a project at any point to meet deadlines. Candidates must have an extraordinary eye for design, work with hands-on projects and be able multitask.

The primary responsibilities of this position are to assist the Graphic Designer and Multimedia Designer in creating and implementing the use of all visual advertising tools across multiple media platforms. 

Essential Job Functions:
This role is comprised of all areas of design, from concept design to completion. The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for some of the work highlighted below:

•  Assist in monitoring the company website daily to make sure all pages are informative, relevant and at all times, current. 
•  Create daily social media postings to ensure optimization of promotions and advertisements. 
•  Pursue innovative ways to enhance the company’s promotion/advertising presence.
•  Assist with creating visual advertising materials, which includes but is not limited to:
   > Creating advertising pieces and plans for various visual marketing mediums: television, newspaper, internet, etc. 
   > Prepare advertising content for in-house promotions, on the website, theater screens and more.
   > Create monthly and specialty email blasts to promote ongoing and special events in the theaters.
•  Work as part of a team to promote new theater openings and renovations:
   > Work in conjunction with team members to facilitate unified brand management across all marketing and advertising mediums.
•  Facilitate any visual support for community events the company participates in. 

Foundation Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities required:
•  An advanced understanding of the social media universe including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Blogs, etc. 
•  Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office products.
•  Basic knowledge of coding languages like HTML5, CSS, PHP, is a plus.
•  Possess strong computer and internet skills.
•  Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly. 
•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple projects at once.
•  Adapt to changes quickly and positively with flexibility.
•  Have a pro-active, team-orientated mindset.
•  Candidates must be able to meet strict deadlines and work under pressure.
•  Associates degree preferred in design, communications, marketing, or other media-based degrees.  

Additional Skills
Candidates should also be able to work independently and within a team environment. Portfolios must include recent design work and demonstrate exceptional aesthetic judgment and understanding of current design trends, including but not limited to, typography, colors and layouts. Candidates must also have excellent sense of style and must love movies.

Job Type: Part-Time (24-25 hours a week)

•  Perform daily reporting functions providing both corporate
and 3rd party partners with timely theater information
•  Display at all times an utmost professional demeanor

Reports to the theater General Manager and assists the
GM in all of the daily activities of the theater operations:

•  Provide excellent customer service to all Cinemagic patrons:
   > Resolve customer’s requests, complaints in theater
   > Respond to customer comments requests from Internet requests
   > Provide professional, courteous phone interactions with patrons
•  Oversee and advise on general building maintenance
•   Understand and operate our NCR POS System
•  Understand, operate and troubleshoot our projection booth systems
•  Strong understanding of inventory control procedures –
receiving inventory, cycle counting, etc.
•  Ensure theater complies with current PCI standards
•  Assist and advise the GM in all areas of employee relations:
hiring, scheduling, managing, and discipline
•  Perform daily cash management functions and reconciliation
•  Perform daily reporting functions providing both corporate
and 3rd party partners with timely theater information
•  Display at all times an utmost professional demeanor
